Somehow recently I've lost the touchscreen "click" sounds.

I've checked the volumes--they're all the way up. They play fine in Media player and other applications.

I've checked the Sounds option in the Control Panel, they're enabled. I've tried setting and resetting them, too.

I'm running latest Diablo on my N800.

The only things I've changed recently are:

1. uninstalled Canola 10 beta, reinstalled Canola 9 beta--couldn't get it to work so it's currently uninstalled. I did run Canola clean-up.

2. installed Timidity to work with Denemo.

Any ideas how I can get the tactile "click" back?

What are your exact settings in Control panel > Sounds > General?

Master Volume @ 100%
System Sounds - Off
Key sounds - Level 1
Touch screen sounds - Level 1

These are the same settings that I've been running since I first got my N800.

Finally "found" my click.

I had forgotten that besides installing Canola Cleanup you have to run it.

After doing that, my touchscreen click sounds returned.

It also seem to help the sound volume settings in Denemo (via Timidity), too.
