His phone could have a hardware problem, as you've seen on other threads I've been developing this since last Sunday, and an N900 can't last till thursday on one charge, it's perfectly safe to use (plus Bash has tested it with me along the way)
It's also a kernel module, it gets reset after it's removed (which the UI button should do, as well as rebooting the phone)

As for backup loading, I need sources not binary kernel modules.

Please note that the developers, maintainers, or anyone involved in the making of the application do NOT condone piracy.

I fixed this by opening Application catalogs in Application Manager, opening one of the repositories, pressing save without changing anything, and backing out until Application Manager checked for updates automatically.

PSfreedom doesn't have any problems installing now.

Thanks for this MohammadAG. Do you store the psfreedom.ko file somewhere directly or is it merged into the package once installed? If you store it somewhere we can access than we can hex edit the file ourselves.

Hi guys, first post here. Being the graphics designer for this application I've been testing the app along side Mohammad and I didn't get any hardware issues like charging etc.

No need to go through the hassle. Anyone who wants to play backup's let them manually copy patched version of "psfreedom.ko" there them self's

how?

Code:
/opt/psfreedom/modules/omap1
/opt/psfreedom/modules/power40
put the patched versons in thoes places(depending on what kernel your running)

PS: i love all your work...Thanks

but if we need an update for the new PS3 firmware (like 3.42)...
would there be an update for the n900 ?

the psfreedom 1.0 has the .sys calls lev2
quote from kakaroto´s blog
"The new release of the PSGroove yesterday also adds 2 system calls that allows user space application to modify the GameOS kernel, and that meant a new payload is available for developers. This version of PSFreedom provides all these payloads and you can choose which one to set by simply copying it to /proc/psfreedom/payload once the module has been loaded. The same also applies to the shellcode."

I don´t think it should be compatible with 3.42
