Background: I am trying to load in the (N900) theme's color.css file to "theme" qml elements. This should be done without using c++.

The way I am doing this is a XmlHttpRequest. However, qml doesn't implement synchronous behaviour.

So my question is if there is any way to "block" until the callback has been processed.

PS: one could then revitalise http://gitorious.org/hildon-qml or in my case write quick-widgets with access to theme colours/images
