How much work is it to make a calendar app? Is it doable to build it with QT quick?
I don't have any experience with QT, but I know how programming works in general, did some JAVA long time ago at school.

Wouldn't say it's that hard only to make a calendar with basic features.
Really hard to say without knowing any details at all.

It's easier to say if it's difficult or not if you plan how it should look like and what code you need for it.

And then you just try to implement what you planned.

It should be possible to do it with QML using the QtMobility Organizer plugin: http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/docs/...organizer.html

My main problem with the default app is that it is cumbersome to add an appointment. I suppose it is not possible to change the way a appointment is entered in stock calendar?

I want to create a simple week view with to do items and a better way to add calendar item. Maybe I should make a rough sketch so you know what I mean.
