I use this site for keeping up with football scores.

When a goal is scored or the match is over it alerts you with a sound. It is a flash site and works fine whilst the screen is on, but does not make the alert sounds when the screen turns off. Is there any way to make it work whilst the screen is off? Thanks in advance.

I suppose you could leave the display on while charging. And, with a low backlight setting if required. Not entirely fool-proof, I know, but it's a quick and easy solution.
