This link is probably shared elsewhere, but I'll post it here anyway.

Sounds like Meego has a lot of momentum and a large number of partners buying into it.

I wonder what the Q2 Meego devices are going to be and how they will sell them when Meego isn't finished ?

Well, I doubt products will be released before the OS is "finished"; anyway, this is an open source OS - it will never be "finished" in the traditional sense (and that is a good thing )

So according to the Meego Timeline the first project release will be in July and a second in January 2011.
This is good to see, progress being made with a plan!
And!!!! a further release every 6 months?

Well... at least we'll never have to play the guessing game anymore

it'll just mean, omg will my phone support version 1.1 i just bought it and it's obselete already.

btw i'm understanding this correctly, will nokia allow non nokia phones to d/l apps from the ovi store. if so it'll be a smart way to get more apps, and users to use to app store.

This is how it looks like. And its definitely good, only if Nokia finally allows OS updates in old devices. Hopefully thats the case here.
