I was thinking of doing the same thing, off work for half-term this week, but alas it is not in, they are saying mid-November until they get stock.

I happened to be today at the Symbian Exchange http://www.see2009.org/ in Earls Court which is still on tomorrow. Nokia showed there a prototype in their QT area. I also saw quite a few people with N900's. I assume they must have been Nokia employees or Summit people.
So if you are in London tomorrow and have time on your hands and you REALLY REALLY want a fix - this might be your chance

I'm off to London this weekend, and shall be going down Regent Rd very near to the Nokia Store.
Does anyone know if they have any N900's on show in that store, to play with or at least look at?
Might try and pop in and have a gander.
