Clever. And interesting to see what the zeitgeist of the site is.

rm_you: Your applet is one of the "must-haves" for the tablet!

While I like being in the list twice, I personally am a little sad that there are so many Debian-related posts up there. Debian is cool and everything, but...

In some cases the posts themselves are not particularly useful. I don't think the Numpty Physics post itself was all that hot, it's just that it let us know that Numpty Physics was available. Some of these posts I read every morning just after reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, but some I hardly ever read. To get a real "usefulness" statistic, I think one might take the number of thanks and factor in the number of times the post has been read somehow. This list is great, however -- I hope it or something like it becomes part of the Wiki.

Take the number of thanks, then factor in the number of times the post has been read somehow,
then update the wiki.

Certainly interesting as a trend spotter, but skewed and biased by the selection criteria as a Top-20 list. The current Top-4 list at maemo.org downloads is Canola, MPlayer, Maemo Mapper and OpenSSH, which sounds more like it to me in terms of everyday needs :-)

Grand Central Dialer:

Might I note that the current thread is here:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=21394

Which the current deb is posted here:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...7&postcount=31

And the code in subversion is a lot more recent. It includes:
* 770 support
* Grand Central Contact Support (And soon evolution)
* Copy/Paste
* And more (we're all busy with life so its been too long since the last release, I can't remember what it didn't have.)
