I've installed the new Nokia Qt SDK in home. It works great, no problems at all.

But today I've installed it at work and I can't make it run.
Using terminal I've found this problem:
"error while loading shared libraries: /home/matias/NokiaQtSDK/QtCreator/bin/../lib/qtcreator/libQtGui.so.4: file too short"

Then I've noticed that some files has 0kb after installation.
I've reinstalled it 3 times with no luck. Seems like something's wrong with the install file or something

These are the files with size 0:
- libQtDesignerComponents.so.4.7.0
- libQtGui.so.4.7.0
- libQtHelp.so.4.7.0
- libQtMultimedia.so.4.7.0
- libQtNetwork.so.4.7.0
- libQtOpenGL.so.4.7.0
- libQtScript.so.4.7.0
- libQtScriptTools.so.4.7.0
- libQtSql.so.4.7.0
- libQtSvg.so.4.7.0
- libQtTest.so.4.7.0
- libQtWebKit.so.4.7.0
- libQtXml.so.4.7.0
- libQtXmlPatterns.so.4.7.0
- libsymbianutils.so.1.0.0
- libUtils.so.1.0.0

Unfortunately my connection at work is a sh*t and I have a lot of problems trying to download SDK again.

Can someone zip those files and share with me please?
Thanks in advance.

In Qt Creator:

Select Tools -> Options -> Qt4 -> Qt Versions.

Which version is selected or which versions do you have there?

E: You have problems with Qt Creator...

Try the offline installer. Once it is downloaded you have everything you need in that file.

@Diph:
How can I run QtCreator if I have the libraries broken?

@danielwilms:
That's the installer I'm using. Reinstalling gets always the same error.

I'll use this thread to describe my problem with Nokia Qt SDK

I've just installed the Nokia Qt SDK
http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...ia_Qt_SDK.html

stack looks really good but one thing works for me really bad. Maemo Emulator (QEMU) works really slow. Is this known issue? Maybe I'm missing some libraries (opengl, sdl?)

Development machine:
- Ubuntu 10.04
- 4gb ram
- kernel: linux-image-2.6.32-23-generic-pae

I had idea to left scrachbox away, but in that case need to more think about it.
Is this forum proper for this topic, or I should ask in http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/ ?

Yes, QEMU is known to be slow.

Most users are expected to

1. Stay in cross platform sphere and use Simulator so desktop Qt
2. Use device + hw debugging
3. Use scratchbox

The "golden" approach today is #2.

Again my, sorry for inquisitiveness on the topic but, ...

How it is that QEMU is able run in with decent quality OS like ubuntu, but it's not able to run maemo? I know i pretty big offtopic for subject but I'm really interesting on that.

ARM vs x86 CPU seems like a good reason.
