I'm trying to install Debian on a 4GB micro sd card
I'm following these steps: http://elektranox.org/n900/installation/manual.html

but when I try to chroot I get

Code:
chroot: can't execute '/bin/sh': No such file or directory
what do I do at this stage? I've also tried the tarbal file installation and when I try to chroot I get "exec format error"

also I'm using debootstrap_1.0.55~bpo70+1_all.deb from the first step because debootstrap_1.0.30_all.deb was not available

I think you should try this script with unknown obvious's kernel (armhf/thumb2 support). Long time ago I've used this script (with little modifications) to install armhf debian.
