Today i got something very special on my Operational-Table:

MEDION LifeTab S10366

For all, who are not from Germany: Medion is an Lenovo Daughter company, which sell cheap Electronics in Germany and some other European countries.

Many Medion-Devices are absolute rubbish, but some are really interesting.

Like this LifeTab S10366
This Is an Intel Baytrail FullHD-Tablet, based on the same HW like Jolla Tablet JT-1501 and Aigo X86 Tablets.

The Adroid Base is the same: anzhen4_mrd8 but Lifetab has Android 5.1.1 installed

There are a couple of differences, like the Display resolution, additional Mini-HDMI-Video-Output etc.

But, i a, pretty sure, JT-1501 Sailfish Image can be installed on it after some modifications.

For all, who is interested, i can provide additional information

Android Device Tree can be found here
(when i found the right one)

Hey,

Is there tab which has calling facility? Preferably something smaller?? And of course am talking abt one which has SFOS installed or one in which SFOS can be installed? I am aware of the Aigo X86 and the one in progress by Chenliang, but both I believe dont have the facility to call.

Well, the Medion Tablet which i discribe here has no LTE.
If you need an SF-Tablet with LTE - you have not much choise.
Sony Z3 Tablet Compact (SGP621), (Scorpion) has working LTE.
Sailfish 2.1.0.11 can be installed on Top of CyanogenMod.
Video, BT, Sensors not working in the moment. all other things run just fine.

Nokius is the port developer.

Do you have any further information on this port?

Do you need any help?

I'm very excited to see a operational SailfishOS tablet

The Problem is, i'm not a developer at all.
I only found out that the Medion Lifetab is based on the same HW and on the same android device tree.
just flashing the Jolla Tab Image, like we do on Aigo X86 is not working (i tried alredy), because Medion uses different partition layout and different Display resolution.
But somebody, who is familiar with Jolla HADK can built an Sailfish Image.

What i will try is to boot the Onda Tablet Image from the SD-Card.
If it will succeed - i will post it here.

Sounds nice.

If you could boot some sort of Linux dist from the SD card you might be able to correct the partitions. Maybe you would need to fix the bootloader too. SSH and chroot might be useful in this case
