Not on mine, switching to flight mode and back, didn't help at all. Really need to reboot.

Boot menu script not found! Please run a maintenance boot.
If you bump into the error message above, the solution is explained here in detail.

I mounted the volumes Nokia N9 and rootfs with my file manager and commanded the following in my working directory ~/Temp.

sudo cp zImage_2.6.32.54-openmode_l2fix /media/rootfs/boot/

Then I extracted the files in ububoot package and moved the needed files to proper place.

tar xvf ubiboot_035_sailfishos.tar && sudo cp home/user/MyDocs/boot/ubiboot* /media/Nokia\ N9/boot/

I want the Port because I live in the other side of the world and Jolla will arrive to my country in almost 2.centuries.
I have no chance to buy a Jolla here
Pretty much sums up my scenario..

is it possible to write a script or daemon that will monitor key presses and change the volume?

$ su (password)
# ssu ar mer-tools
# ssu ur
$ pkcon refresh
then
pkcon install alsa-utils

alsamixer in terminal.

I am working on running Mer/Sailfish on an Android device.
What is your recommendation for partition layout of internal MMC?
Should I bother with initrd, or just go straight for pure kernel mounting rootfs partition directly?

Does anyone have a dump of partition layout of Jolla Phone?
How does your N9/N950 layout look?

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but touch screen is far less sensitive in Sailfish than in Harmattan if not grounded either via the charger or by touching the plate on the back of the N9. (this also applies to UbiBoot and NitDroid)

I know that N9's touch screen isn't the best at all, but at least it stays usable in Harmattan even when it is not grounded correctly.

Is there any chance that this problem can be solved with some clever coding, or is the source of this problem too complex to solve it?
