The previous version worked really well for me. The application was one I used daily until it stopped working with v.0.1.2-7.
For the record - the install file problem cleared up. Don't know what happened there.(#11050)
The crashing on open (#11051) was a version problem with libqtm-multimedia which was resolved by going root and running
apt-get update
apt-get-upgrade
