Fantastic. Been waiting for this, and the emulation seems very good also!
Guess it's just some of the usual details left then, a nicer virtual keyboard and settings page.

Very nice work of this vice port indeed! Thanks!

I'd really love to try this out, but my /rootfs is getting tight these days with dev software.

Is VICE optified?

As said the Fn key does not work in emulator mode, you have to use the virtual keyboard (menu->virtual keyboard) for extra characters

Oh sorry. Didn read that.
Do you think there is a way to enable the Fn Key?

Sure is, it's already working in the menu mode, didn't have time to dig into emulator keyhandler yet.

Hmmm... I just installed the .deb you specified in your first post since you said the one up on the extras-devel repo is broken.

Problem is that after I installed, my /rootfs shot up to 96% used. To be fair, I was already at like 90%, but still...

Removing VICE immediately put me back to my previous /rootfs usage levels.

Are you sure this package is optified?

The maemo builder version has to be non-optified then My locally built version is 100% optified.

[edit] Darn, I noticed that I had "all" instead of "auto" in debian/optify file. I will fix this to next release, sorry for the hassle!

Wow, this is great that Vice is finally working with n900!!! Great job Barfly!

Long time wanted to have reasonable good C64 emulation in portable format - now it is here! MUST for all 8-bit fans!
