Greetings Valo,
I was thinking about setting up a Samba server and would like to try this out but the direct download link for the "Smbscan.pl" script doesn't work.

Thanks for sharing this!

I am trying to connect to an iomega NAS. The script runs ok until the last command, which returns an input/output error.
Any ideas, anybody?

Sry i never test it with a NAS,
before trying to mount with nokia try to mount with your windows based pc (if you have one ) ...

ex : \\ipaddress\share --> Working ? username, password ?

Nas Share is SAMBA BASED ?

please, if somebody know the solution post it !

NAS share mounts perfectly with PC and Mac!
Why do we need Russian codepage 1251?
Is domain name needed?
Must be some detail...
Thanx, anyone

try to download new version of the script (1.1) and edit, CODEPAGE="n" variable . Soon if you have more problem, script can ask you what codepage and charset want to use ... soon in 1.2 version.

try ... cya
