No matter which size... Not too slow, but slower than without shadow
So doesn't negatively affect the gaming experience

It was switched off

Yes, that is expected.
The GPU of the N900 is really (I mean REALLY) bad at doing alpha transparency, this is probably the reason for it.

(Also because the app uses the GPU, you won't get any better performance if you overclock the CPU )

Hi i really like you game.

But i have a problem: when i finish a game and start a new one, the timer doesn't restart. Here a few pics:

I finished this puzzle in 62 seconds:

I decided to start a new one but the timer started at 62 seconds:

so if i want to restart the timer, i have to restart the app.

A suggestion:
in my opinion, the tiles shouldn't "snap" immediately when one happens to be moved near one of its matches, because this way, one is likely to simply make a match by sheer luck.

Instead, a match should only be checked for after lifting the stylus/finger, or alternatively, after some given amount of time without being moved.

Thanks for the nice game anyway, and for porting it to OS2008!

Just curious: Can you use the up/down etc. keys to move the pieces? My touchscreen is broken for the most part... It's not a request; I'm just wondering

I thought about this, but then you would need:
- Some logic to select which piece do you want to move (which I have no idea for, without a mouse or touchscreen) - your idea wanted
- Move the selected piece - Now this could happen with the arrow keys
