Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if the built in email programme in OS2008 in my N800 will still work? I don't seem able to send & receive as it would 4 or 5 years ago - might that be because there is more security hoops to jump through these days?

Or if I could (& how?) delete it, reload & start it up again.

That supposes it does still work?

I can send & receive via a web browser using my usual email address if that is relevant

I'm not at all tech savvy & would need clear do this do that instructions if it's possible

Then this new post JUST popped up in between the previous posters and mine...

Yeah, this time it is initiated by Halloween imps.
As it occured to me today, too (with another thread of course).
And not for the first time but iirc it started already a few years! back. From time to time I just receive a notification mail for a new post after months of original writing date.
So it may as well be caused by easter bunnies or carneval peeps.

Conclusion:
Poor effsweet joined, posted that one single post, did not see it appear and... err... effed off.
The post did not appear exactly because effsweet was a new member and his/her/its first post got stuck in a queue for moderation, whence it was released only a month later, after a moderator woke up from the coma induced by reading too many posts by Dave999.

My bad again as always.

I see only one solution. Give me the right s to approve posts or move it to another area.

After all: I am demo dude of all things off-topic!
