Hi, in pyobd are implemented sensors from PID 101 to PID 15F . I don't know how to calculate other sensors.

Please visit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs
and enter the formulas for the other PID's

Sorry for the late response. I read that OPEL cars use a specific opel protocol called OPCOM compliant with ELM interface. Is it possible to implement also Opel protocol?

Thanks a lot

Hi,
I have problem with pyobd when trying to connect to my ELM327. You see, before I had to flash my n900 I had pyobd installed in my n900 and it worked just fine. After flashing my n900 I re-installed pyobd and the installation went just fine. So now when I try to pair my n900 with elm327 something is going wrong. There is no problem for pyobd to find elm327 with Bluetooth but when it try to connect I get the message on pyobd “error cant connect”. I started pyobd in X terminal so that you can see the results or printout:

BusyBox v1.10.2 (Debian 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso31+0cssu0) built-in shell (ash)

Searching for BT dev...

I hope I wrote down all the information you need to help me.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Best regards,
Miroslav

Hi,

I tried again this morning just in case. So the first time I tried by typing root in X terminal and the pyobd program started but with the same problem as before. Pyobd did find elm327, paired with it but but when I then press Connect to ECU I get the message Error cant connect. This is the output from X terminal when I type
root
python /home/opt/pyobd/pyobd.py
BusyBox v1.10.2 (Debian 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso31+0cssu0) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Now, when I type sudo gain root I get other result BUT by typing sudo gainroot pyobd did not star like when I type only root
sudo gainroot
python /home/opt/pyobd/pyobd.py
in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Hi,
i think that your CBT device is not correctly paired with the n900.
I made a test with my CBT device: after deleting it from my n900 and i have obtained the same result.
Please verify that you CBT is correctly paired.

Thanks for answering,
Well I just don´t know anymore. I will delete pyobd for the second time and reinstall it again. N900 finds CBT with bluetooth but when the pyobd ask me to connect to ECU it all stops there and Ican read on pyobd as I said before the message “ error connecting”.
Are there any files that I have to delete manually after I uninstall pyobd. Some hidden files that stays in the phone even if the pyobd is deleted? I´m asking this so that I can later do a clean installation of pyobd.

Best regards,
Miro

No @miroslav_s, there aren't hidden files.
Please, post all of the printout when you start pyobd from shell and post a screenshot of your paired bluetooth devices.

Hi again,
well I reinstalled pyobd again. Will try know again pyobd. Just Before I do I would like to ask you one thing: When you wrote "from shell" just what do you mean with "Shell"? Do you mean that I should start on X terminal with "root", right?
Best regards,
Miro
