Thanks for the app!

Working really good. As I tend to use Galaxy S also, noticed that after using it in android and then back in n900, it could not register. I removed conf and after that registration succeeded.

Maybe these usual solutions to problems could be put to the first post of the thread or some other place for convenience of future users?!

I guess these features are on the way at some point, but mentioning them still
- layout like in android (of course with user-custom colors etc :P)
- "take and send"-picture
- the keyboard doesnt turn into portrait when portrait, using LS-KB-mode

I didn't want to disappoint you but:

1.- Layout will never be like Android. This is Maemo, and it has to look as Maemo as possible.

2.- That might be a possibility.

3.- Portrait mode will never be implemented (at least I won't do it, maybe somebody else will after it goes OpenSource).

1. Well U decide While this is maemo, the greatness is in the OS not in the GUI all the way, imo. Wouldnt actually have to be android-style but in style of year 2013, just a thought.
2. I would bet this is the most valued feature, for example, otherwise google talk would be enough. Good if it is doable at some time.

...and back to business, aka wishlist:
- VK to take the layout by countrycode etc, i mean as scandinavian i am missing some letters
- chance to receive videos.

Virtual Keyboard layout is something you configure in your phone, it doesn't have anything to do with the applications. I have no control of the virtual keyboard.

Anyway an N900 is designed to be used in landscape with the physical keyboard. You seem really pushy about the portrait mode, you should get another phone.

In other news Whatsapp is down right now for everybody worldwide.

is whatsapp or yappari down? Icouldn't connect for the past hour or so

What does that tell you?

Yappari is not working anymore, I've tried connecting through multiple WiFi's and on 3G too and it's not connecting, is someone else having this problem?
