Does anyone know what "Maemo Support" is in KDE 4.5 ?

Look under kdeedu here:
http://techbase.kde.org/Schedules/KDE4/4.5_Feature_Plan

Is it to run Maemo or to sync with Maemo devices or ????

Will this eventually be "Meego Support" ?

Thanks

All of KDE running on Maemo ! Wow.

Pretty heavy for an N900 (?), but also very powerful.

I'd love to have (mobilized) Amorak on an N900. I'd call that a killer app.

Marble is a generic mapping app, not all of KDE. At first I thought it was a theme like Plasma is.

But this still goes to show that KDE apps can be made to run on Maemo.

I'd rather have navi than marble, but its a step in the right direction. I'm really glad to see the KDE team playing attention to Maemo and hopefully Meego.

When nokia loaned N900 to KDE devs a few months ago there were many blogs about people getting KDE desktop widgets etc running on N900 pretty quickly.

Same here. I have seen no official word regarding KDE and MeeGo, but I think it's safe to say at this point Maemo could be considered a sandbox for MeeGo.

I am a KDE fan and this is good news to hear, just a thought though...once the devs have KDE up and running - and apart from offering more options to the '900 owner in terms of apps, would it also change the whole Maemo scene in a sense of taking over from where Nokia left off or as a separate OS?
