Done also, no change. Patch shown as installed and activated but no change on the screen.

I also tried the music cover on lock screen patch. Same, no visible.

So obviously, something is done wrong (by me or a piece of software). Any idea how I can diagnose what happens?

@clovis86: just read few of the previous messages and you'll get the answer ;-)

Well likely, but the built-in Patch "Unapply all patches on upgrade" will fail to install.
And I suspect Patchmanager issue #23 is originating from a change in SailfishOS 2.1.1, to which Patchmanager has not been fully adapted, yet.

So why would you want to try that?

Perhaps because I can't get any patch to work on my J1 anymore.

Hey @romu, we are just SailfishOS users, just like you are, not Jolla support.
Please search there (i.e. Jolla's Zendesk), and on TJC, before asking questions, which already have been asked and answered numerous times.

Well, if that still has not become obvious to you: It is most likely not Patchmanager or SailfishOS 2.1.1 causing this issue on your Jolla phone, but something specific to your device.

"Reinstall your [Sailfish]OS" cleanly, means: Do a Factory Reset.
For more information on the Factory Reset, see e.g.:

Thanks, I didn't even know Jolla Zendesk exists.

Regarding the problems I'm facing, sorry, but it's was not so obvious, probably because I didn't face any issue with patches in the past. That's why I asked some questions. And it appeared one of the issue comes from a bug in PM2. Things are not totally black or white.

@romu
If you want to make factory reset almost painless. Backup you phone using Jolla Backup tool and use https://openrepos.net/content/osetr/storeman to backup your apps from OpenRepos and repositories.
