I installed PyPackager but couldn't find it anywhere in my device (maybe I'm too stupid? need your wisdom), and even if I'll find it, I don't know how to use it, how to write the config file, add dependencies, how to know what are the dependencies, ect'.

Are there any written instructions for doing this?
google and search here gave me nada.

I just want to emphasize that the app is a status-bar application and not a standard application with an icon you can click on.

Thanks in advance!...

No, thank you.
Just read it.

It does explain how to pack a normal Python code to a .deb package, but I'm interested in a status-bar PyQt package - status-bar script needs to be copied to a certain directory (/usr/lib/hildeon-desktop) and I'm not sure how to do it with the PyPackager.

Also, as I mentioned, I don't know how to start the PyPackager application - no icon, not working from command line..

What command line did you try, and what was the result?

I tried "pypackager" and "PyPackager" both as root and user, both gave the "-sh: pypackager: not found".

Can anyone please explain to me how to run PyPackager or when can I find it in the directory tree?

I can't seem to find it under /usr/bin (or any other usr subdirectory for that matter), nevertheless I do see it when running the App Manager and selecting "uninstall".

I've reinstalled it, so low chance that the installation is corrupted, but maybe it has an unusual installation process?
