I keep trying to download firefox 13.0 from Ovi and I get repeated "download failed errors"

First I tried the software update with errors, so I deleted Firefox 12.0 from my N9 and tried a new download from OVI, still over and over "download error" I went to bed, tried again. I turned on developer mode just to try, but still "download error with the package"

Anyone out there able to download this software, I use it as my main browser and upset I deleted 12.0

I have had the same problem with FF13 too. Other apps are able to download fine but FF is giving the same failed message.

There is a mistake in OVI - file posted is fennec_12_443205.0_armel.deb There are errors when trying to install this file with dpkg. Just wait for this to be fixed.

PS. Now problem is fixed. Correct file in OVI. Try update now.

PS1 I still get errors when trying to update without deinstalling FF12. Something wrong with plugins. I don't want to uninstall FF12 until I am sure I can get plugins working in FF13, as I need certs imported via plugin so I can get my online banking working.

Hello,

you must ff 12 remove before install ff 13. Download ff 13 over OVI Store, close it, go to /var/cache/apt/archives/partial and install ff 13 manuel.

ready

The FireFox download is still not working for me. I'm really losing patience with repeated downloading issues from Nokia/OVI/SUX store. Do they QA these packages with a real N9? Why does this keep happening?

Btw, Apple hit 30 billion downloads, but how many would they have had with Team Nokia, that is the question.

I keep getting a 'download interrupted' error message, with a dialogue box asking to continue or cancel.

@zlqatko, I just redownloaded, and the install still doesn't work, so the problem lives on.

@myname24 thanks, but I still get no installation.

Well, nothing worked for me so I went ahead and installed nightly. Perhaps one of the two plugins I have was causing problems (adblock, phony). I noticed these were still around even after removing FF12 and installing nightly. Still can't install Front Camera
