I haven't seen(searched for it) a thread like this yet so I thought I start it and if there is I am sorry I totally missed it.

Which phone are you using with your N800?

What's the provider?

What Internet Plan are you using with the provider?

I am currently looking for a phone that I can use with my N800, I am on T-Mobile USA but I have yet to find a phone that they can provide or a unlocked phone that is inexpensive enough that I can afford it and use it on my plan(internet unlimited 29.99).

Hopefully this helps other people out though that's another reason why I really wanted to post this so there is a reference to it. Maybe a wiki page .

Okay I found a wiki page on Maemo.org ... but it doesn't load, would still like some input on the community on what they use.

Thanks!

Nokia 6230

Small, edge works fine w/tmobile US & N770/N800. 6230i would probably be an even better choice.

Motorola v3c + Verizon + modified firmware.

Not recommended for the faint of heart.

Verizon not recommended for -any- data services.

Nokia N75 UMTS
Cingular Medianet unlimited $20

Works great, faster than EDGE, pairs easily. I have never been charged for tethering but according to the TOS there is a per/kb charge for it.

I gave up trying to get BT DUN to work on my Treo 700wx...with this setup I just use wifi
wherever I am, much easier and I don't have to worry about BT speed bottlenecks.

I love streaming Rhapsody while driving, like having an unlimited iPod...
