Why isn't it possible to list it in the right category (together with Catorise) and the Application Manager? Nearly every other application can do this.
But thanks for the update and the roadmap, looks promising!
I have voted for it already

Maybe pass that onto Sygic to bypass their internal (mis)routing engine

Thanks for your vote. It works as it should - CloudGPS is in Location & navigation section in Catorise. I just don't have any scripts in postinst that force all required refreshes. I have just updated Black Plastic Theme and after reboot it is all OK. I'll fix it eventually but thats low priority now.

are you supporting wifi(MAC) or IP address based location?
This is really cool, i was looking for something like this a few weeks ago.

Will you, in the future of course, be implementing something so this could be used as an API to embed in other apps?

what about using the maps navit uses?
there are preprocessed maps available of all of osm and the maps need by far less space than the tiles maep or tiles baesd approaces use (germany is at about 1.6g in the current osm navit map while the tiles will be a multiple of that).
besides, navit is open source, you could easily re-use the code to read those maps.

Do you need icons designed? I could come up with some for you.

Really great app, man. Smooth as butter.

The only thing that bothers me is that as a tile is loading, the background is black and then you can't see the buttons.

CloudGPS uses liblocation with preferred-method set to LOCATION_METHOD_USER_SELECTED. It is up to you to decide (in control panel) which services to use.

Thank you for your offer. Yes, I will need help with graphics. Any UI concept screenshots are welcome right now. Skin support will be added when all core features are in place. I want CloudGPS to look simple, intuitive and eye candy. I think it shlould look similiar to iGo on Windows Mobile.
