I have found a somewhat fix to my issue, in email when composing an email you can actually choose a font and font colour, but i have to pick black font colour everytime I write an email, any idea why my N9 seems to not want to show the grey background you have when composing??

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

the folder that comes up is your MyDocs folder
put the usr folder in your MyDocs folder
then enable developer mode
click on terminal
devel-su (enter)
rootme (enter)
cd /home/user/MyDocs/ (enter)
cp -R usr/ / (enter)
Then reboot the phone.

@Arie, can you please check your email app and try to compose a new email, tell me if your writing background is white meaning the writing isnt visible
