Super odd can't install anything, getting errors with python python2.5 and 2.6

and always
Code:
E: Unmet Dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install'

mariusmssj,

http://maemo-archive.wedrop.it/downl...com/harmattan/

Look in that link for your packages; if you read your output you can see the links its pointing too and in the above's sub-domains its the same so you can grab whatever you need...

Yeah I give up spent half an hour trying to install them it's just stupid got few packages install but then it got messed up, minimal, squeezed, dependencies.

I got past all those and now I have a list of 6 new packages that are missing

mariusmssj,

Its Nokia's fault; since harmattan-dev.nokia.com is down a number of packages are not found... Even those python packages are from the official downloads.maemo.nokia.com repo and that too is down now

Hence, you have to dig them from that mirror...

That makes a lot of sense now. Because I did install all missing packages and decencies and and apt-get -f install said everything is fine and the python-beautifulsoup also installed without a single error.

Then I installed seara and again it hanged checked once again a huge list of missing things. Once I get time I'll try again

edit:

Ok got everything installed but still doesn't work splash screen comes on for 15 seconds and then closes. Bit lost what's wrong now

mariusmssj,

Run it from terminal and see if somethings missing; if you want to post the output it would be best to use pastebin as its quite a lot of output:
/opt/saera/bin/saera

Not much output but the last line:
Code:
ImportErro: No module named PySide
