Tried note 8 today an im note sure I like it. Pen was excellent but the formfactor and the plastic frame felt pretty cheap for a 1000 Euro/dollar/Sterling device.
Maybe I will learn to like it after price drop, but I doubt it.

yup...
every day at work...
I use 4 of them...2 VHF, 1 UHF, and a real sophisticated new one.
Have my operators license for them ...including my Marine and Aviation operators license as well to legitimately and properly talk with vessels and aircraft..
That linked "how to" is great for someone who wants to play around with walkies ...

yeah it is compared to the old uhf and the until now current vhf..
I am not sure of the different frequencies it uses..it is new in the office repertoire ..
Training in use on stuff is far cry from training in the how and why something works...
I need to sit and read up on it.
