So I think that would be not in.
As far as I know, here in Germany FM transmitters aren't forbidden. It's only forbidden to use them.

€dith: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/FM_Transmitter#Radiosender

They are now allowed:
"Seit März 2006 sind diese Geräte auch in Deutschland von der Bundesnetzagentur zugelassen worden (sofern sie den Vorgaben entsprechen). "

Yeah Kotzkind,
I forgot that new law. So FM_Transmitter are allowed. So hopefully it should be in it.

It is informed that ITOS2008 is identical for N810 and N800. It seems that N810 has no FM radio. But N800 has. Does it mean that the FM radio in N800 will be disabled with ITOS2008?

No.

For one, the FM radio app is a separate install. For another, each tablet has features the other lacks, and the new hardware abstraction layer will enable the OS to simply ignore what the tablet doesn't have.

No, just like the GPS and keyboard won't be disabled in the N810 even though these items don't exist in the N800.

Just because hardware is missing in one platform doesn't mean it can't be enabled conditionally in a second platform where the missing hardware does exist. So the FM radio will be supported in the N800, although if I recall this is achieved through a user space download and not really a firmware/OS issue at all.

Hmm ... I was poking around last night and found some code entries for an "Ultra-Vibe Pleasure 2000" module. Looks promising.

How's about a listing of dmesg and of "find /sys/" from the N810 for us Thoughtfix?

As for me, I'm preferring two full-sized SD slots as an easter egg. Then it will be a great device .Otherwise it's quite limited compared to n800 :\

I will go so far as to say, there is an easter egg... but quite frankly, it wouldn't be any fun for me to reveal it. It'll get uncovered in time. I was pleased when I found it, at least.
