Don't have much time as daily with Huawei or Xiaomi top notch devices current. Doesn't really like the design. But I'm probably completely wrong here
It's obvious to me that one device can't do it all so it's good to have a few. Big screen rules, and regarding Xperia. No one of the devices attracts so many comments as a the old Xperia ultra in the free landscape charger. Thinner, bigger with a massive black screen makes any topnotch hw of today look like a toy phone
Look at it. Have you seen a more sexy setup? The phone of today don't stand a chance!
Whould be fun if I could sail away with that...
Edit: Anyway, will probobly end up buying another fairphone or something low tech.
What tablet are you going for? Android? What's good...Have haven't really looked at the latest here for a while since I' really like the surface pro series...

Tizen is the last hope for Linux mobile. iOS is the last hope for more than one mobileDeviceOs.
But in the end it doesn't matter Android will crush everything and take a market share of 99 percent 2025.
2042 google will overthrow the government via election.
2099 the google AI will be self aware and take over the world...two years later it have had enough of humanity and try to wipe it out.

I would hope for tizen ...
but I think it will end up being niche...
not for the normal reasons....
Not for any other reason than the fact that the monster-that-linux-made (Android)
Is dominating the planet.
Sure linux won the desktop wars...
won the laptop wars...
and is now winning the smartphone wars...
But the cost...

Tizen how good/bad it is is the only OS with money currently. In lots of big screens too.

They are suckin up all the oxygen in the room.
Tizen ...Jolla ...right on back to the n900...
All the "niche" smartphone...wouldn't be "niche" ...
If it weren't for the obvious trifecta of evil.
