@mece and others:
we had some 80% at the beginning but it was obvious, that we cannot keep this.
Especially if the increasement of votes is not that high.
I watched it:
Our votes increase by approx. 51 to 58%
the Samsung votes increase by approx. 42 to 48%
so in the end I guess we will win with approx. 62% (from my calcs).

Yes, it does matter, because it's important for it to be made known how the N900 doesn't even really belong in the same league as the smartphones (the N900 isn't even a smartphone, really, more a handheld computer). I mean, those of us who have a Maemo device know why it is superior, and it's not just rhetoric or fans cheering on their favourite.
But people outside the circle don't realize that, so they just see it as a smartphone (kinda like seeing a desktop computer as a really expensive typewriter).

From what I read on the reviews it seems that phone is only good if you are a phone geek who wants to mess with the OS.
Ain't for the person who wants a dependable phone. So let them win.
