hahaaha

um use what Dave?
record players?
oh yeah... I have one... nothing like vinyl ...mp3 recordings OF vinyl including the hisses and pops make it almost ok...
still...
vinyl is king....
imo.

Little beats a nice classical recording or blues or jazz album on vinyl...
or old Tull for that matter...

but for pure storage capacity... sigh... mp3 is barely adequate...
ogg I like better...
there are better formats and containers for preservation that I prefer...
Have. To check it out. I think I completely missed what the player is about

Yeah, playing these dinosaur discs on a regular basis. They are still the latest stuff in the Canadian jungle?

before that communication was done from mountain top to mountain top via semaphore ...

actually we were ahead of the curve man...
we were laying millions and millions of fiber optic cable throughout the whole country back in the 1960's...
we knew what was coming....
and we have ....I don't know how many ....comm satellites we have up in the sky... we've been busy little canadian beavers here...

What do you mean . Digitized most of your discs? You play files instead, you mean?

You should put your Santa hat on, find your favorite chair, bring your home made eggnog. All this while you play your old records and watch the snow falling

Do you have snow? Anyone have snow?

Well, levitating turntable is cool but this is better. Any kickstarters for this...

Microsoft basically out-Apple'd Apple today with the Surface Studio, an incremental update to the Surface Book and a non-announcement about updating the Surface (tablet).

Beyond the gimmicks, the form factor should do well for designers, agencies, architects and most anybody that does not code but needs creative tools.

Woop woop! $1300 isn't too bad. But why do we need 6GB in a phone right now?
Just becouse we can maybe, just as good reason as any when I think about it. So it coming next week you say, will be intresting to see if the cam brings anything to the table.

I think this phone will be great for googles daydream.

When will the smartphone over power your laptop?
