Of course it was done using the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/n900 page.
But it does not boot into uImage made for 3.0 kernel.

UPDATE:
The latest tested by me version is 110826_1900.

UPDATE to the UPDATE:
Also, there is a new version with the 11.04 support, but I didn't test it yet.

ofono is not installed by default. And at the moment I want to make wlan work - it says it can't find the firmware. Working on it. On Maemo the package is called wl1251-firmware.

fdisk script:
Code:
fdisk /dev/sdc << EOF
n
p
1
1
+8G
n
p
2

+1G
n
p

w
EOF
I'm using 16Gb microSD, so you may need to change values.

Warning: I've disabled apt-get upgrade in the last version to make it faster (upgrade process took an hour in the chroot).
But it seems that there was some bug in raw image and now I can't get behind kdm prompt.
Enabling it...
Fixed.

Just found instructions from skykooler which is not so automated but has the firmware part. Will try to merge the scripts later.
