Given the situation with jolla and the tablet I think it's safe to say that we don't get any info the coming 3 weeks since jolla employees probably drinking eggnog rather than work on the tabletGate. So I think it's safe to say that egg nog is on topic.

Btw. The Finnish people and jolla probobly don't drink egg nog but rather go with the non liquid solution they call... mammi...meme or mema. And some vodka to top it off...yeah and all of it is consumed in a sauna. True story.

*) That's "condensed", not "evaporated"; the latter is much thinner and less sweet. Real condensed milk is thick as honey and about that sweet. It usually comes in about 400 ml cans.

Separate egg yolks and whites. Use only the yolks. Use the whites to make some meringue or just dump them down the drain. Pour the vodka (rum, gin...), the yolks and condensed milk into the bottle. In that order (you can leave a little bit of vodka for rinsing the can of condensed milk and pour that in last). The bottle should be about 2/3-3/4 full. Give it a very good shake until nicely dissolved and smooth. Top up the bottle with milk (wine, mead...).

Consume within 2-3 days max.
this looks like doable
though i coudnt follow endsormeans nog yours is clear but i still got questions
"(you can leave a little bit of vodka for rinsing
the can of condensed milk and pour that in last)"
does this mean a little vodka/rum/gin used later to clear the can of remainaing condensed milk , just that ?
and

you mean i shake the contents well then ? pour the milk in the bottle and ready no need to shake ? i mean the shaken mixture of vodka yolks and condensed milk density would be diffrent than the milk i pour later na ?
also what else do i dont know yet that can spice it up like alternative to mead or white wine

anyway i am just thinking how would it taste as i seldom made alcholic food experiments

Valid questions indeed!

A few hours of intense investigation of eggnog recipes gave me the following conclusion.

Do not over do it. Keep it simple yet elegant with very few but awesome ingredients. Less is more!

ostrich eggs Is the way to go!

Endso's (personal) Simplest (even for Nokiabot ) , easiest, healthiest (at least until the spiced rum is added ) , cheapest and least ingredient Egg Nog Recipe.

1 blender or electric handmixer.
1 good sized bowl and a jug to pour the mix in afterward for the fridge.

In the bowl 2 beaten eggs (do these 1st)
then throw in the rest of the ingredients below...
blend toss in the jug ...chill...consume (makes 3-ish servings...extrapolate for additional servings)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 dash ground nutmeg
2 1/2 cups milk (2% is fine...even 1%)
3 tablespoons of sugar (raw sugar can be substituted if desired)

yet again for alcool ...
I suggest a spiced rum it makes for a smooth rich addition.
3 (or 4) parts nog to 1 part spiced rum.
pinch of cinnamon on top.
long spoon..
stir vigorously to mix 'er all up
drink
hic

This recipe is lite and easy on the waistline.
As a consequence it is very easy to drink this all day long.
suggestions:
buy a few dozen eggs and a few gallons of milk as a consequence.
also suggested sze of spiced rum bottle should be in excess of 40 ounces...
heed these warnings...
otherwise it won't be long and you will be fuzzily weaving down the street to the grocer looking for more ingredients...

Yes, just that. Condensed milk is very thick and there will be a lot left in the can. You need something to rinse it with.

Yes, shake until thoroughly mixed. The bottle should not be completely full otherwise the contents does not mix very well (most ingredients are quite thick and not very runny). You need some empty space. Top up with liquid after shaking, shake for a few more seconds and done.

Only your imagination is your limit. I like it plain, so I do not add anything else. You can add whatever exotic spice you can think of.

That is true, mead is very potent and getting drunk on it will give you a hell of a hangover. Go easy on it, no more than two glasses in one evening. That goes for dry or sweet mead so it's probably not just the sugar.
