Hmmm... unless you live around Be'er-Sheva, I can hardly see that happening
BUT! we don't have to meet face to face in order to work on this together - if, like a lot of open source projects - the Waze project uses subversion managing, we could just use it to work in collaboration...

I upgraded from an N95 to the N900. Problem is, I still carry both phones with me where ever I go because the N900 still doesn't do a lot of the things my N95 does. There is no reason the N900 *can't* do those things. The software just isn't there.

1) Waze / Crowd-sourced GPS navigation/info
2) GPS in google maps or "good" free satnav
3) ANY satnav that can be operated with one hand
3) RealPlayer (I used specifically for streaming NASA TV)
4) Skyfire / video streaming (really "Flash10")
5) Sportstracker / GPS excercise tracking

The list used to be a lot longer... maybe someday soon I can finally retire my N95!
You could try mapper.. it uses google maps.

I live in rechovot, so not very far.
And to be honest I am in the exact same situation as you,
Great on C#, know some C++, some C, but mostly on windows systems - So thats why I say we can meet - Go over the waze project, understand what we are dealing with, and maybe help each other,
then we can start working on it.
If Omeriko wants in on this too, it could be (geeky) cool that we meet 3 of us, You are both invited to my home in rechovot, or, I am willing to make the drive to beer-sheva, i'm on Dalkan...
But need to be a weekend, else I work/study.

Provided that you want to do this (;
PS. no commitments (:

I'll be happy to contribute any of my c++ skills, actually hoping to sharpen them for any upcoming job interviews...
I have no vehicle, and efekt and me are both here, so.. I guess you are invited

P.S: geeky indeed...

Well I have no problems meeting, but I can't see how meeting would make things move faster unless we have 3 computers
Anyways in my opinion it ought to be on a weekend, as most of the week I'm pretty busy...
