The new vagalume version in extraas-testing is sooooo much faster when switching between tracks on last.fm. Thx.

OK, so I'm slightly unclear here... how exactly do I go about scrobbling with Vagalume or is this feature not available due to the last.fm "restrictions"?

there are 2 things to mention:

1. to use vagalume with lastfm, you need to import your own configfile with your API-Key. instruction can be found here at talk.maemo.org if you want.

2. login with your lastfm account in vagalume and enable scrobbling in the settings.

it works quite well.

(1) Already imported my own server.xml with API/secret key
(2) scrobbling enabled

Doesn't seem to be anywhere to open existing MP3 files on the N900 for scrobbling (or I'm blind and missing something obvious).

oh. no it does not support scrobbling for the internal mediaplayer as far as i know, just for the songs played within vagalume. it would be a great suggestion to the developers though

Looks like I got all excited for the wrong app without reading properly

Hopefully mafw-lastfm is promoted to stable soon (and scrobbles local files!!!).

Is there any chances of using keyboard to skip/stop/love/ban (and so on) tracks?
I like the way winamp/xmms uses:
Z - back
X - play
...

It's pratical do use keyboard.

Also, is there any chance to buffer for a little time to make it possible to pause?

Thanks.
