Yes, without Android apps there's no future for Jolla (for regular users).

There could be. If Jolla had let developers submit paid apps, which is impossible after 2.5 years after pushing the phone into the market. THAT is their biggest mistake. Sailfish is thus not an interesting market for developers, even those who were initially interested.

If BlackBerry 10 is anything to go by, there is not much hope of expanding native apps even if they are paid.
