I do not know yet whether that will work for 1 hour or one day. We will see.
YES, thank you! This link works here too. Their wap portal is apparently programmed crappy enough that it simply does not work on regular web browsers. I had to use a special T-Mobile My Account app on Android to at least have that working.

But going directly to that URL in Opera works, all IM accounts immediately connected, and web pages load.

Looks like no more internet with T-Mobile prepaid Pay-As-You-Go:

Web DayPass is No Longer Available
VERSION 2

As of October 16, 2011, Web DayPass was grandfathered and is no longer available. Customers who wish to use data services must choose a rate plan that comes with data. See T-Mobile No Annual Contract to locate a rate plan that includes data.
Sort of stinks if you took advantage of their Gold Rewards program & have a huge balance waiting to be used.

Next least expensive plan with data is Pay-By-The-Day:

Besides figuring cost versus prepaid, switching plans with T-Mobile can be rough. When I switched from Monthly to Prepaid, my balance on the website showed 0, then a month and a half later I got a letter saying my bill was past due. The website didn't reflect the last month of Monthly after I switched, so it just waited until it was past due & required a few long phone calls to customer service to clear up. They even sent two separate, simultaneous bills from Texas & I think Virginia to compound the confusion.
