I vote for E52:

Cheap as sh** -- check
Crazy battery life -- check
USB charging -- check
GPS -- check
WIFI -- check
SIP -- most probably check

*THE* problem might be to find person who's wiling so sell as most owners "abuse" them 'till the end. We still use them as our primay business phones (besides personal phones) and with occasional exchange problems -- everything just work!

Edit: maybe I'm unlucky but proper SIP work for me only on N900 and N9

GPS for what use? Maps? Navigation? If I'm not mistaken, very few S60 3rd devices came with free maps, N85 and N86 for sure off the top of my head. Someone correct me on this....

e52 is really nice. It's just that it's old. Maps work pretty good, I actually prefered to use nokia maps on e52 than any other nav on my friends sgs3.
crazy batterylife, yes, if the battery is original and brand new. I had a 3yr old one and it lasted 'only' 5 days. I still have one just in case, damn this thing is reliable and has everything.

I want symbian due to it's excellent battery life and PROPERLY integrated SIP stack.

Any suggestions?
I get the need for "cheap".
I get the need for longer battery life.
I get the need for Wifi (internet).
I get USB charging (charge off your laptop?)

...what do you need the GPS for?
If its for geo-tagging photos, there's cameras that do that.
And you'd do SOOO much better with a cheap dedicated camera than any phone camera. Even the N8 loses to inexpensive point 'n shoots.

...if you need it for Navigation... then the GPS is only as good as its maps.
From what I remember Turkey didn't even have proper GPS working back in 2006. Nokia maps wasn't supported. Are the maps half-assed? Are they constantly updated?

Google Maps would be a safe bet, im not certain.

...why do you need "proper" SIP Stack?
What are you trying to do?

I'm not sure if you can get an iPhone (cheap 3GS ?) which might tick all the right boxes. Or might tick them off after jailbreaking it.

Otherwise there's Android. Choices from Samsung and HTC, and sometimes LG and SONY too.
Huawei and ZTE are glorified kirfs, Pantech's actually decent. Motorola should be banned. Eww to Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo, Dell, NEC, Panasonic, ViewSonic.

Eh? How is that possible? Was there a huge umbrella shielding Turkey? Were the satellites sent on special trajectories to avoid the country?

I think it was just too few satellites and poor signal.
There I had an old Win Mo device with external GPS that barely ever picked a signal. A big city like Istanbul, that was surprising.

I vote for E52 too. Or 808 if you dig the camera.
