I think it now resembles shell.xml still I can't seem to get it to work...

wolke, when you are free could you tell me what I've done wrong?

oh, the toolbar i pasted works exactly as it is, as it turns out.

yours is broken because xml doesnt allow literal &s.
& => &

So i change:
text="&" name="_amp">

to text="&amp"?

Nope it didn't work out with changing it to text="&"

Maybe I should just try again with using the file you linked to with just the above change?

you cant have non-ascii characters in it.

Btw, wolke you mentioned about mtermite...How is it any better? Also i tried doing an apt-get it wasn't found so is it from some other repo?

it can hide the vkb and make the vkb transparent.

its in afm.

echo 'deb http://repo.apps.formeego.org/harmattan/apps/ ./' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/appsformeego.list

from its website:
+Lock orientation
+Enable/disable the virtual keyboard
+Toggle virtual keyboard translucency
+Toggle showing help banners
+Toggle blinking cursor
+Change keyboard cursor shape
+Toggle expanding terminal if virtual keyboard hides
