After the excitement of finding a comfortable level of overclocking (800 mhz for me), sure. I actually am not very interested in spending forever playing with a little computer -- I have other interests.

I'm sure that there will be peaks and valleys; when pr1.2 comes out that will be another peak for awhile. I know that there will be other peaks.

It's quite possible that the best is yet to come, but I don't want 100% excitement all the time.

Novelty runs off any item. The N810 was amazing and the G1 and Android was a blast when I first got them; then you basically find the niche items you like on your new device and that becomes what it is for you from then on.

In this case; it's a decent phone and media player you'll carry with you and provide you access to many other things you may randomly decide you like or want someday .

Try some other phones. You'll get bored quicker.

I just tried my friend's HTC HD2 today. Lovely big LCD. But that was it. Boring.

New gadgets always have a honeymoon period, but there will be some fun stuff to do pretty soon like dual booting meego and probably a few more commercial apps.

Nope, still as excited as day one, but i'm a big kid.
Seriously, even if it stays as it is now, for me it's replaced:-

1/ Archos 605wifi
2/ TomTom SatNav... (with Sygic)
3/ iAudio M3 (mp3 player)
4/ PAS Digital Camera
5/ Phone
All these things I no longer carry with me...(I'm an actor and work away from home quite alot)...oh, and my laptop stays at home more often than not (Skype on n900)...I feel so light now i've given up exercise!
So, in conclusion...Very very happy with it and wouldn't swap it for a night with Kylie. (ok, maybe i would)

Dan

To paraphrase Sam Johnson's quote about living in London, 'if anyone is bored of browsing the web on th n900, then they are bored of life itself'.

I tell you what I've become bored of though, my iPod touch - it does not come close to browsing on the n900 microb with real keyboard. Virtual keyboards are a joke no matter how nifty Apple and HTC make em. Apps are so overrated IMHO !
