Thank you.

But I somehow can't install the packages with the dependencies

I am getting this:

Code:
[root@Jolla Downloads]# pkcon install-local ausmt-1.2.9-10.15.4.jolla.i486.rpm
Installing files
Waiting in queue

Resolving dependencies
Fatal error: nothing provides patchutils needed by ausmt-1.2.9-10.15.4.jolla.i486
[root@Jolla Downloads]#

Hey guys, I've finally built a working patch. It installs, it patches - I'm quite happy with that, so far.

I have a question;

After my patch is activated in Patchmanager, the prompt to 'Restart preloaded services' is not highlighted - where as with most patches I've installed, this seems to be a requirement - what triggers that response?, what decides whether or not the preloaded services need restarting?, any info gratefully received!..?

(About my patch;
My patch simply removes the theme opacity from camera's tools overlay, so when you select a different White Balance option, you can see the 'scene colour' change without the theme opacity distorting the view. I use this as I tend to shoot under different light types. LED/HID/Fluoro/Incandescent/etc).

Thew "restart preloaded services" prompt appears only if applicable. Currently only for patches in the "silica", "homescreen" and "phone" category.

at first: does your patch require any process to reload?

Thanks for replying pichlo and coderus;

I guess the answer is no, coderus. When I open the camera directly after applying the patch, the theme opacity is gone, as I intended it to be.

I think pichlo has answered my question really, as in the fact that if a restart is needed, then patchmanager will highlight that option in the pulley menu - so it appears that it's not really something that author has control over.

Thanks Coderus. Work perfectly, installed without any problem
But I have another problem that I think related to this patchmanager.
Every time when I need to restart lipstick, it's crashed... Lipstick status show "failed", and only reboot help here...
Can someone confirm (tablet users) ? Or any ideas how to fix this problem ?
Thanks
