I've just installed, no issues at all. It seems faster to me.
I think it would be nice to user experience not to authenticate when TwimGo starts. If it caches (I do not know) old messages, it would be good to be able to see those old messages even without being connected to internet.
Regarding the new theme, it looks beautiful indeed.

I cannot get logged in... reinstall and same problem.. had no problems with previous version. "Twitter API returned 401 unauthorized on URL" ... and yes, I checked my username and password and know that it is case sensitive. I can log in to Tweekdeck on my computer quite well...but just cannot log in to Twimgo... suddenly

took the plunge and installed - WOW! Seriously incredible, amazing ui, probably the most polished app for the n900 and the twitter client i've waited for for 13 months.
running latest version, no problems at all.

me too no problem at all, used 2.7 also now runing 2.7.1
I agree above me about UI ! amazing!
also, there is problem... even when i set in setting not to update by itself, it keeps trying to connect to the internet by showing me the access points every time!
i kind of miss Block button!
