Nothing really interesting, it does the same thing as MODSupport, plays cracktros etc. I have 3000+ .xm file, so I could not use MODSupport, b/c it uses built-in Media Player, which does not handle lots of files well (and its hard to organize)

So I compiled XMP from GNU/Linux on Maemo SDK, and so far it seems perfectly working, but wastes CPU a little.

Did the Reboot option already! Cheers guys.

Hi Guys

Thanks for posting. I had just figured it out and was working on it. Shame purple isn't dark, I was really hoping it would be.

Ah well, continue to play I will.

Thanks again

Hope this is the right place to request mods or hacks.
Two things I would like to see are:
1. Enable the FM receiver without the headphone plugged in.

2. Enable the FM transmitter when USB is plugged in.

Thanks in Advance!

Since the headphones act as the antenna, and they're needed to hear anything that remotely resembles sound, good luck with that...

SILENT / CUSTOM SOUND CAMERA

...in usr/share/sounds the files camera_snd_title_1, 2 and 3 (1 is the camera shutter sound, 2 is the video recording sound and 3 is the focus sound) just replace them with any working wav sound file OR for a SILENT CAMERA just rename or delete these files!

[QUOTE=biggzy;462291]I used WinSCP to see system files and replaced the sounds in usr/share/sounds the files are camera_snd_title_1, 2 and 3,
1 is the camera shutter sound, 2 is the video recording sound and 3 is the focus sound, just replace them with any working wav sound file.

There's a guide to LED Patterns on the n900 here.

The easiest way to get a darker purple is to use a more simple (in terms of not using increments/decrements) pattern like the below:

Code:
PatternCommunicationSMS=30;1;0;rB;9d8040007f007f0040337f007f000000;9d8040007f007f0040ff7f007f000000
Note that this should all be on one line.

That gives a fairly pleasant dark purple.
Given time I can probably get one fading in and out, but I'll leave that until later.

Well. I have a near field transmitter that it should pick up.
A rare use case I'm sure.
