I sold my N900, because it just wasn't a good phone. Maemo is great though and the way everything is integrated is wonderful. Chat/skype, facebook etc everything is neatly integrated with contacts. I do miss that.
I currently use my old and trusted E90 as a smartphone again. This it does very well, but it's a bit slow and browsing is even slower. But the opera mobile browser does a decent job.

The last month or so my N900 was collecting dust or used as an internet tablet, just as it was supposed to be. It does a great job and flash works great. But the screen was a bit small, and speed still as an issue. Micro B was fine but Fennec sucked (even with flash disabled).

So after selling my N900, I decided to by an ipad....
A great shift form my Symbian and maemo history.... I always tried to avoid the closed IOS ecosystem and apple devices. But the temptation was to big.

Wow it's great and fast, although almost nothing is included in the package, it's beautiful and fast and easy to use.
the Ipad needs third party apps to be really useful. But compared to maemo, lots of developers support IOS!! And there is lots and lots of software to choose from.
Integration sucks on an ipad, and the closed system sucks, no multitasking yet, but I love my ipad..... It just works great and fast, no hassle...
