This is a big problem ...
After change password, application keeps a backup of db with old password in folder /home/user
Then, open a xterminal and copy the current one (qtwallet.db.sqlite) to a safe place, and then overwrite qtwallet.db.sqlite with BACKqtwallet.db.sqlite.
check that you have (again) missing information and try again.
Remember to use old password.

I already changed the password several times in an attempt to mess up thing even more
The data loss itself was no biggie since I mostly had testing cards and not really any "valuable" info as of now.
Also, when does the "password cant be changed because %1" occur?

By changing this file the app could no longer edit any item in the database. Changed permissions, or what? Had to delete the old database-file to get it working again.

I'm not involved in development in any way but until you get a proper reply I can say this much. You can import images into the app, and then delete them from their original location. Thus they will only be accessible from within the app (ie stored in the encrypted database). So, in a sense, yes you can "lock/hide" images with this app. Note that as this feature is intended for valuable cards (like credit cards) you can only store two images per card, but of course as many cards as you wish.

Then, open a xterminal and copy the current one (qtwallet.db.sqlite) to a safe place, and then overwrite qtwallet.db.sqlite with BACKqtwallet.db.sqlite.
