You're welcome dude, thats exactly the same as my set up, so I guess that rules out those settings...grrr can't find anything on google either.

Maybe its my .desktop file, I'll examine it, do you know of any other python/pygame apps with an icon that does work?

Hi Guys,

if you have the problem with icon not working and are comfortable with xterm could you try the following...

NOTE: to write to this file you'll need root access.

using ur favorite editor open /usr/share/applications/hildon/bouncebounce.desktop

and change the line

Exec=python /opt/bouncebounce/bouncebounce.py

to

Exec=run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/bouncebounce/bouncebounce.py

(all on one line)

then try running the icon again

if that doesnt work try editing the file again and change again to

Exec=/usr/bin/python /opt/bouncebounce/bouncebounce.py

pleease report ur findings.

Hi guys,

When trying to install from app-manager it says

unable to install application packages missing

and the package is libsdl-ttf2.0

help please :-(

Mine runs sweet on the spot from the icon. Nothing is wrong with it. I'm using standard OS with CSSU v13.

About the FruitNinja clone

I would suggesting you to make a slide show movie intro to the game when the game loaded .

Using this music from Battle Los Angeles trailer music
It's sound nice.

Then install it:

terminal:
root
apt-get install libsdl-ttf2.0

if successfully then you should be fine.

Thank you jamie i recieved the update today and now i can see the last score and also the highest score its well good now! By the way even i would like a fruit ninja clone please!

i change the line as you said but the game doesn't start ...
the game 'papertoss' has the same behavior.

Can you add a pausing state to the BounceBounce?
I've notice my device get quite warm when I open up bouncebounce and shutoff my screen. It uses quite high CPU %, therefore would be great if you can put processes on PAUSE state to help saving battery and better for resuming later on.


Please add:
-Pause button
-Options: turn off music, SFX volume

I updated bouncebounce 1.1.0-1 NO WORK(And re-install)
so use xterm but no work
no root

I try to remove 1.1.0-1,and install 1.0.0-1,He did not work the magic
I play othen pygame:clocks n900 is work or use xterm n900mm is work
