Guys I got a problem while doing Usb hostmode

I buyed a USB OTG cable & tried to connect my Mouse to N900 as written in Youtube.. And it Works

And While i try to connect my 160GB HDD to N900 On Clicking VBUS MOD ON a Blue light blinked on HDD & When i clicked on Enumerate A Tick Tick Sound is coming from HDD & No other response.. btw HDD have NTFS Filesystem

So anyone can Help me to connect my HDD to N900 plz...

Hdd's use too much power from the usb port, the N900 can't supply that power. They wont work, unless you use a powered usb hub.
(At least, this is what I think)

but I had seen lot of Videos in youtube connectng HDDs to N900

Buy a powered USB hub, there's no way a N900's supplying a USB HDD the power it needs.

Try to use a HD with a own Power Supply.
And moreover, NTFS are by default not supported.

Kernel-power seems to support reading NTFS.
