No, he is talking about the phone application's orientation settings. What is happening is that CSSU's orientation lock (most probably u must've set it as landscape) and the phone app's orientation lock (most probably u must've set it to portrait) are conflicting. Disable one of the two.

This thread is being pushed to the point of being unusable. going through > 100 pages for a project with several tasks makes the discussion in one thread overwhelming for all - new comers and old timers.

In Gitorious (http://gitorious.org/community-ssu), there are 16 repositories under Community-SSU. It would be great if we discussed each repositories in their own separate threads. Sticky in each threads would provide clear information about the topics relevant to the thread.
Code:
hildon-desktop: hildon-desktop sources, modified for the SSU.
hildon-status-menu: Hildon Status Menu, modified for the SSU.
hildon-home: The SSU version of hildon-home.
community-ssu-enabler: Community SSU enabler package.
vte: vte, modified for the SSU.
libcptvout: Open source clone of control panel TV-out applet
modest: Modest email client, modified for the SSU.
mp-fremantle-community-pr: Meta package for the community SSU.
hildon-control-panel
osso-applet-notificationlight: Open source rewrite of osso-applet-notificationlight for Maemo 5 by Nicolai Hess.
osso-applet-display: Open source rewrite of osso-applet-display for Maemo 5 by Nicolai Hess.
hildon-application-manager
libcpaboutcssu: About CSSU control panel plugin.
tinymail
modest-l10n: Language files for modest
status-area-orientationlock-applet:

The CSSU is probably the largest undertaking by the community from a software perspective. A proper forum structure is imperative going forward and I hope the moderators would take steps that enable effective communication.

Well, there's little discussion from those involved in the day-to-day decisions. That's on IRC & maemo-developers.

In Gitorious (http://gitorious.org/community-ssu), there are 16 repositories under Community-SSU. It would be great if we discussed each repositories in their own separate threads. Sticky in each threads would provide clear information about the topics relevant to the thread.
You mean separate forums, with stickies in each forum? I'm not sure using the package structure to orient user-facing discussion is the most sensible approach, to be honest.

Yes but as far as the users are concerned, this is the place to discuss CSSU related matters. And it IS messy here.

I would say, a separate forum (singular) with multiple threads and important sticky threads would be necessary.
