Mobile mmc cost more but is supposed to have faster transfer rates. The speed is won't make any difference on transfers doing on the 770 itself. I use a external USB reader to do large file transfers, which go faster that using the direct 770 cable.

the bigger benifit of mmc mobile in teh 770 is the dual voltage aspect makes it use less power and so it won't suck down your battery.
